How does a custom software project start, and what does it cost?
Many start with Custom Software Discovery, a $1,500 paid planning engagement. You receive written requirements and prioritized features, a recommended solution and technical approach, project phases, a timeline and development estimate, and one process or system diagram. Software development is quoted separately. Not every project needs paid discovery; after a short intro call, we will recommend whether yours does. Focused automation projects start from $2,500.
Should I buy software or have it built?
If an existing product fits your process well, buying it is usually the better deal. Custom software makes sense when your process is what sets you apart, or when you are spending real time working around tools that do not fit. We will help you decide honestly.
Can you work with the tools we already use?
Usually, yes. Many business tools can be connected so information flows between them automatically. We will look at what you use and tell you what is possible.
What if our current system is old or fragile?
